As we have established we have quite a few fans that aren’t from Wigan I wonder are many travelling to game on Saturday. Where are most people planning to go? I’m on my tod and maybe I could link up (not bad company I promise). I’m arriving in Heathrow 9ish Saturday so I will have a few hours to put down. I don’t want to go to mad on the beer as I want to enjoy the match. At Cardiff agt United I met up with some wiganers and was half pissed going to game and spent most of the first half up and down to the john. I remember the guy I was drinking with, a fella called ‘Geordie’ originally from Newcaslte but living in Wigan. He wore a black patch over his eye, lost his eye in fight between Newcastle and Chelsea fans in London a while back. The cops seemed to know him because ever boozer we wnet into they came home to say ‘hello’ to him. So as you can see I’m not bothered about who I meet up with!

I’ve just had some terrible news, not only is the pub our coach is parking up at called “The Preston”. But it’s also on the millwall side of the stadium. Oops

10 April 2013 at 6:20 pm #108587Vague plans afoot for many London/southeast-based Latics to meet in Kilburn/West Hampstead – 18 pubs on one mile-long stretch – then go on the Overground (quieter than the tube) to Wembley Central.

My mate rang the pub earlier and they confirmed that it would be wigan fans only in the pub. The coach company said they had Crewe fans at the weekend and parked in the same pub. Just seems a bit too far west of the stadium. Oh well
