On a pitch the size of Wembley I think any team would find us hard to beat….with our style of football we will pass Millwall to death………..Victory is nailed on…..probs by 3 clear goals..
10 April 2013 at 2:24 pm #108554Do you really think the extra yard width will make a difference? (Wembley 115yd x 75; DW 115yd x74) Wembley pitch is the same size as Stoke’s and smaller than Old Trafford. We don’t exactly play brilliantly there.

You’ve shocked me there. I really thought the Wembley pitch was bigger.
I suppose if we play how we know we can, we can make it seem bigger. That’s what we have to do.
11 April 2013 at 12:09 pm #108743If they park the bus as QPR did on Sunday or like Bournemouth and Bradford did at the DW, we may struggle to break them down and get caught on the break. Thats my fear.
We’ll have loads of posession I’m sure of that but we’ll need to make it count.
Most of our attacks come down the left and unfortunately in Beaujesour we have the only wide player in the PL who can’t beat a man.I think the only decent cross from that side last Sunday was from Gomez when he got wide.
We need an early goal to make them open up.
Then we can exploit the space and beat them easily.

He has good control and Maloney plays balls inside the fullback for him to run onto.
He may then cross or pass the ball into the centre. There wasn’t a lot of space at QPR last week and Wigan collectively failed to find a way through.

QPR was a good training game for the semi…..tense atmosphere…everything depending on it…..outsupported (cos we where away obviously but will be te same on Saturday)Because of that game Saturday will be a walk in the park.
