28 April 2013 at 2:06 am #111143Any City fans seen at the DW yet?Someone passing the DW a little earlier sent me this photo, it appears City fans have taken note of Latics fans camping out last weekend.

“2300 hours, here in the scorching arid footballing desert, where goals and quality players are in equally short supply, I await the arrival of a rare and unpredictable species.
Yes, I am awaiting the arrival of the Wigan pay on the day fan. I realise I may be here for some time, or even some days, but I am here nonetheless, to witness this remarkable species in action.
By 0900 tomorrow I anticipate there will be at least 4 of these incredible reptiles on public view, awaiting the opening of a small corner of their nomadic home, a place more commonly associated with the throwing about of rather strange looking balls, by even stranger looking men.
I will attempt to interact with the creatures involved, but fear I may be told, rather unpolitely, to fook off back to York”

Is the Marquee behind the away end? If so, that’s a quarter away round the ground?

28 April 2013 at 7:09 pm #111206Went passed at 2pm & there was no queues & 3 people at the ticket office windows.
Now either we have sold out, bar the £115 tickets or people are waiting until tomorrow & will do it online/telephone so they don’t get wet, cold etc.
28 April 2013 at 7:17 pm #111208Just got back from the ticket office. No queue at all, bought 3 x £65 tickets with no fuss at all.
Actually don’t think we will sell out.
Happy days though, I was getting a bit nervous about getting them!!29 April 2013 at 9:25 pm #111340Anonymous
Looks like some of the 4k that have been held back have gone to City.
There’s no announcement yet, but on City’s online sales site there are a lot of extra blocks that have gone on sale this afternoon in the £85 and £115 categories. The £115 blocks extend right round to block 119 which is a good way into the East Stand.

No, they won’t be from our allocation. They only went on general sale yesterday and general sale only went on sale online and by phone today.
In Saturdays programme, it clearly stated that the £115 tickets had sold out, as had the lower priced tickets. I think there’s only some £85 ones left.
They’ll sell, don’t worry.
29 April 2013 at 10:06 pm #111346City are now selling tickets all the way too block 115. They were definitely part of the 4,000 we held back.
We’re now selling block 522, so we’ve sold loads in the top tier just not many in the lower tier.
29 April 2013 at 10:10 pm #111347Just been talking to a mate who got his tickets late Sunday afternoon and he’s in Block 524. £65 category.
