Problem is. we will possibly need to win 3 of the 4. Not impossible, but a tall order.
30 April 2013 at 2:31 am #111484I WOULD LOVE IT if we stayed up and relegated Newcastle.
Its going to be tough but when have we ever done it the easy way.

Di Canio is a nob , the Swindon chairman said the best line;-
“It was like an hand grenade going off in the changing room then I would have to go in and pick up the pieces”
If they do stop up they must look to the Everton home game as the one that saved their bacon.

Especially considering we’ve only won two on the bounce on ONE occasion this season…and it took us til March to achieve that.
I think if the points gap gets any bigger this weekend, were knackered. Not mathematically, but realistically. Could get to point where Villa only need an extra point to confirm it. Not good.

We hadn’t won 2 games in a row in 2 seasons under Martinez until we beat West Ham and Stoke.
It’s not over until it’s over. In 8 days time we could be waking up to a very different picture.
