As the Championship season has ended presumably David Jones has returned to the Latics’ squad? He has been playing regular first team football, and as a left footed player, is surely an option for the left wing back / Left full back position. I seem to remember he played there when Martinez first tried the wing back formation in December 2011 before we signed Beausejour for that role. Granted – he is not the quickest player but he very rarely lets us down. Even did a job for us at centre-half v QPR earlier in the season.
