Just been flicking through a few oldy clips on Youtube.
Plenty of our fans there tomorrow weren’t born when that happened!

Wimbledon were 16/1 that day….longest price I’ve seen on us today is “only” 10/1….KTF
Back in 1988 in a previous life I was a director of a non league side so had access to FA Cup Final tickets (how wrong is that really).
I turned up at Wembley for my first ever FA Cup Final, tickets in the Wimbledon end (surrounded by Liverpool fans), dodging those at the back who saw fit to relieve themselves rather than visit the poor toilet facilities, a torrent like a waterfall!!!
The point I am getting to is that the bookies had Liverpool so far odds on to win.
I was at the end that Sanchez scored, then equally when Aldridge missed the first ever FA Cup penalty.
So in a roundabout way, what I’m trying to say is this:
Ignore league form..
We will be victorious,
