Not exactly a big deal either, it’s standard practice these days. In fact, Barrow wanting to stay is the exception rather than the rule.
Do you honestly believe that Everton would have had a role for Barrow ?
He would have been as high on their priority list as Boselli and Gomez.

What a journey!Do you honestly believe that Everton would have had a role for Barrow ?Doesn’t matter, in the vast majority of cases these days, you take a manager, you take his back room staff too, if he wants to take them. Maybe Martinez didn’t want to take him but, had he done so, Everton would have found room for him, you can be sure of that.
