Has joined Yeovil.
18 October 2013 at 2:45 am #122385It will be hard work at Yeovil but it should be good experience for him.
He’ll need an interpreter – and so will they.
18 October 2013 at 4:15 pm #122402My initial appraisal based on Scottish fans feedback was he would be a benchwarmer at best. Looks like that might be an over ambitious assessment.
He looks poor and doubt he will ever play for us.

He looked far better in the games he has played than Chris McCann has in the games he’s played

Surprisingly, and disappointingly, I’d agree with that. Expected more from McCann.
21 October 2013 at 3:55 am #122490Why are we loaning out players to our relegation rivals?!?
21 October 2013 at 4:29 am #122494no idea, but I have started using pop ups when on my deadbait set up.
smelt.

McCann has been poor and Coyle hung his hat on that signing in midfield.
21 October 2013 at 1:50 pm #122500Not sure he hung his hat on Mccann. Surely a squad signing at best. On Fyvie i cant believe people believe he is good enough. Immobile, overweight and over rated are the words that spring to mind. Remember watching him against Bradford in the league cup and he was outclassed by League two players. To suggest he is in the class of Macarthur, Watson, Gomez and Espinoza is fanciful. Am sure the haters will jump on Watson and Gomez but both have dominated games at premier league level before now.
21 October 2013 at 2:05 pm #122502When BW first came to the club he was played further up the field than the present position he plays now and he also popped up with the odd goal as well
24 October 2013 at 1:44 pm #122631Expected more from McCann.Really??
The signing baffled me at the time to be honest & as Coyle’s first signing it always struck as one he’d done just to get the ball rolling after the mass exodus after Bobby left.
If you were looking at Latics squad at the time bearing in mind we had about 3 defenders, 2 forwards & McCarthy, McArthur, Watson, Gomez, Espinoza & Fyvie in the middle, I’d have thought that another midfielder would have been quote low down the list of priorities – especially one who (IMO) was better than just one of those already here.
In terms of his ability, most Burnley fans who commented said that he hadn’t played particularly well since recovering from his knee injury & that was back in 2009.
For me his performances have pretty much been in line with what I expected from him24 October 2013 at 3:38 pm #122635Expected more from McCann.

I don’t have an encyclopaedic knowledge of Championship footballers. Somebody at the club should be managing my expectations.
24 October 2013 at 4:50 pm #122640Fyvie was injured after twenty minutes of his Yeovil debut, suffering a shoulder injury when falling from a crunching Rohan Ince challenge.
He will miss the Nottingham Forest and Leeds United games, and cannot play in the next game against Wigan.24 October 2013 at 5:33 pm #122642I wasn’t aware of his recent history with injuries which is possibly why I expected more.
