Absolute joke with no respect, read his comments on the fans…

    Get him out now !

Final nail in the coffin. He wasn’t saying that when he got the job. Wrong tactics, no plan B, playing players out of position, too many team changes, signing a blind elephant for the main striker and being an x Bolton xxxx. Coyle out and take your Bolton bum chum Mcgiunley with you

Got bollocks eh? Hes dead right. He inherited a relegated side thats used to losing games for years. The team dont have a winning mentality and never have had. People let two games in a cup run shroud their judgement.

If we know anything about Whelan its that he wont be bullied by fans. Remember the Martinez out chants alongside the banners. Fickle lot are singing his name today. Win our game in hand and we are well placed. About time some on here got it in perspective. We dont have a god given right to be in the premier league.

I suspect DW had already had “a word” with Coyle before he made the comments.

Something along the lines of “my office, tomorrow for a chat”.

Please Mr Whelan do the decent thing and send Coyle on his way for his own sake. Don’t let this become Steve Kean mark 2. He has lost the confidence of the fans and the players. Did you see Coyle ranting at McClean and he just ignored him?

        #124191

No we don’t have god given right to nothing and I thought the players tried for him in the second half. We didn’t win every week but we still stayed in the prem for 8 seasons and won the cup. Coyle needs to get real and understand that he has got team selection and tactics wrong

Bollocks he may have, but just as his football shows, he also possesses very little tact.
Rather than reactively rile the fans even more, he’d have done better by being more empathetic. But then again, how many managers are when faced with such criticism? It’s much easier to argue your position than concede it.

Managers have been sacked in stronger positions than we are now, but those shouting for him to go are going to end up with very hoarse voices.
3 home defeats in a week and a potential drop out of Europe will be nowhere near enough to sway DW to pull the trigger – no matter how crap our play, how irate the fans or how unmotivated the players. As you say, we’re still on the edge of the playoffs with a game in hand – and 2/3 of the season to go.

Christ – DW let PJ and RM lose 9 on the trot and stuck with em, and even let Hutchings go for 6 or 7 losses from top spot before pulling the plug.
Like it or not, unless we’re bottom 3, out of Europe AND have just lost our opening FA Cup game to a lower league team…FKW is here to stay.

Last few years we have been a small fish in a very big pond. This year we are a big fish in a small pond.
Last year our B team made championship teams look like league 2 teams.
This year we have a squad that most championship teams would die for.
This year our A team looks like a league 2 team.
There is only one person who needs a reality check!
            Check out of the DW!

PJ and RM were given leeway because they had earned it. Coyle has not.

Loosing games in the Premier League, whilst frustrating, was not a surprise. Loosing 3 homes games now is…and we’ve scored ONE away goal in how many away games? I’ve lost count.

PJ & RM also had the support of the fans, Coyle does not. That is the difference.

PJ & RM would not mouth obscenities at our fans. DW does not tolerate bad manners ;)

Then again, what the fook do I know eh?
Bit of an understatement to say I didn’t see that coming.

At least we’re not bottom 3, are still (just) in Europe and not yet out of the FA Cup ;)

                Farcical but the right decision.

Still not confirmed yet as I write this. The Mail and The Mirror and the masses on Facebook and Twitter can spout all they want, but there’s nothing from Whelan and the club as yet.

That said, I think it’s obviously a done deal. At the final whistle I turned round to check out Whelan’s expression and he had already left his seat by then. As a manager, I don’t think telling a supporter to f*** off is the best idea when your team was 0-3 after less than half an hour.

Not sure if this was a wind up, but by Coyle’s logic does that mean we should have expected to be relegated?

We should be top 3 in this poor division.

I looked round and saw his expression and that of the directors as well. It will come as no surprise to me when news of Coyle’s departure is official announced.
