Just a bit of fun to pass the time away until the start of the season, but if you had to choose just one player who is your all time favourite – who would it be (& why?)
I started watching latics back in 1978 so of all the players mine would be arjan dezeuww. Top bloke, top professional, loyal & always gave 110% whilst out on the pitch.
Sir Andrew Liddell.
Always gave 100% when he pulled the shirt on and scored some of the best goals I’ve seen anyone in a Latics shirt score. His two at Notts County in the league winning season were superb.
Geoff Wright – grossly underestimated.
Kevin Langley – another underestimated player.
The Duke – sadly misguided by agents.
Andy Liddell – Fully agree, especially when teamed up with Stu Barlow.
Arjan DZ – another easy vote.
Johnny King – harder than nails !
Johnny Rogers – better looking than JK.
Lee Koo – our Kung Foo look alike.Just too many good memories !!!!!!!!!!!

That would be Reeves, Turner, Sutherland, Milne, Coutts, Gillibrand, Temple, Todd, Davies, Fleming and Oates. ;)
