Was there no other striker on the pitch today. With a better strike rate but even so we have to defend better
Any footballer who is paid thousands of pounds should never miss the target from a penalty. If the keeper makes a save then that I can partly understand but to balloon the ball over/wide is completely unacceptable – from 12 yards and no other defenders to cope with – come on!!!! I would have had him practising until midnight!
the defence was absolutely awful yesterday especially that first goal which was basically a free shot at goal and Carson should have done better with it also.
The second was just a free header for Rhodes and we had given up by the time the third one went in.
A poor performance and a lack of fight and the quality was non existent across the pitch which makes me think this is going to be a very long season and a lower table finish is the best we can hope for on that evidence yesterday.
Also NEVER EVER let Ramis near a penalty again unless Shaun Wane fancies taking him over to the Thugby!!!
I suppose we could just make the excuse it is our bogey ground but they were awful in the first half and were there for the taking-
