Have the club basically decided to let this fellas contract down for the next 2 years on 30k a week because he got off to a bad start last season? This seems to be unbelievably bad man management to me. I know he was poor last season but am not sure he is much worse than what i have seen up front so far this season.
His goalscoring record playing at a decent standard is better than anything we have at the club yet he cant even get in any squad despite this being one of the worst starts to the season we have had in years. Is Rosler too stubborn to give the lad a chance? Makes no sense to me. Especially when Rosler has never even seen him play in a first team shirt.

23 September 2014 at 5:36 pm #133589I heard from a speccy last night that in pre-season Rosler pulled Holt and McManaman to one side and basically told them he wasn’t happy with their fitness and in no uncertain terms told them to get fit in time for the season start, or get out. Apparently McManaman turned up fit as a fiddle raring to go, and Holt turned up unfitter than before, and since then Rosler just completely blanks him. Just what a fellow speccy told me, mind.

26 September 2014 at 12:32 pm #133665Could this be the worst signing in the clubs 82 year history’s?????
Probably26 September 2014 at 3:53 pm #13366626 September 2014 at 4:29 pm #133668I guess it all depends on how much that 45 minutes from Pasquale Bruno cost us.
26 September 2014 at 5:07 pm #133669I guess it all depends on how much that 45 minutes from Pasquale Bruno cost us.Exactly what I was going to write
26 September 2014 at 5:38 pm #133670I doubt he was cheap, I just hope we didn’t have to pay his contract up.
26 September 2014 at 8:09 pm #133673I guess it all depends on how much that 45 minutes from Pasquale Bruno cost us.Bruno was either a loanee or a trialist so he probably cost the club nothing other than a few weeks wages back in the austere nineties and if I remember rightly he at least put a bit of effort in despite his limited ability.
fast forward to the present situation and he in his second year of a three year contract with very little value being given to the club in my opinion regardless of the situation or who is to blame.
Imagine if I went to work and said to my boss ” I don’t feel up to doing any work today or putting any effort so go @@@@ yourself ! ” how long do you think I would lastthe same capability procedures should be applied to footballers like they do in any workplace if the work isn’t up to the standard required – the sooner we get rid the better!
26 September 2014 at 11:22 pm #133674if I remember rightly he at least put a bit of effort in despite his limited ability.Based on one appearance for 45 minutes against Grimsby when he couldn’t be bothered and (so legend has it – and I was in the tunnel) wouldn’t come out for the second half???
You may have just posted the worst comment on here – and that’s saying something as you’re up against tough opposition.
