Well maybe that will end that topic. Chances created? None.
22 October 2014 at 2:28 am #134298A bit of effort wouldn’t have gone amiss!!!!!!
Totally unacceptable performance for a wigan athletic team-Lazy and tepid performance and totally negative- can they get any worse???22 October 2014 at 2:28 am #134299To be fair it was 4-4-1 (and Riera)

Our lot wouldn’t score in a knocking shop at the moment.

22 October 2014 at 2:58 am #134312What’s to worry about? Two clean sheets, Delorts the new Andy Liddell, Forshaws ‘got it’, Rogers back involved and we have one of the best squads in the league apparently. Am sure in your heart of hearts none of you really expect Dave to sack Uwe. He will give him to the new year at least.

22 October 2014 at 12:12 pm #134322To be fair it was 4-4-1 (and Riera)To be fair, the people on here who bang on about this don’t undertsand the difference between 4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1. All they wanted was two strikers on the pitch and they got it. As the Egg says, (it should be) case closed.
They’ll cling on to the fact that the strikers we have are shite (which isn’t really the point). In fact, I see Donny is already taking that approach on his Fortune thread.

I’m not really one for advocating binning managers willy-nilly, but there is something seriously wrong here. I don’t know whether it’s the players or the manager that is at fault but, in these situations when there seems to be no sign of any imminent improvement, a change of manager is usually the only thing that works.
I think the fact that we aren’t actually losing games might give him a stay of execution. If, that is, Whelan is even thinking about getting shut.
Who knows? Certainly nobody on here does, just before someone starts claiming to be totally in the know.
22 October 2014 at 1:12 pm #134327Well I clean the windows of Dave Whelan’s butcher’s uncle’s niece twice removed and she said she doesn’t like football and is there any chance I can do the windows once a month instead of once a fortnight!
