Grant Holt bags a few against Fulham tomorrow !
Wouldn’t it be kind of ironic if Grant keeps us out of the bottom three.

Indeed it would.
What’s the betting Hudds to win at Fulham…only for Birmingham to win
The bottom 3 beckons I’m afraid.
Rosler out
8 November 2014 at 6:06 am #135151The thing is most of us can remember Grant Holt being a useless piece of shite last season, and he was! The thing is Rosler asked him to lose weight and he did, he asked him to work harder in training and he did and he asked him to move up here and he didn’t. If the latter request being turned down was the reason for him being ostracized from the whole squad then one must question the actions of the man in charge! Can he become a true pie eater? A humble pie eater!

8 November 2014 at 2:33 pm #135177I would imagine the 1st thing any new manager will do would be to recall Holt.Surely when played with a partner we can’t be any more inept in front of goal. Delort has looked poor but maybe a regular run of games with some help will bring out the best.A forward needs pitch time to build a partnership something he won’t get with Rosler. We saw again last night how his persistant staff changes breeds a team who play like they’ve met for the 1st time.No one can surely believe he has the managerial tools to turn things around so a parting should come swiftly.

And herein lies the crux of the problem! The club/manager should be more candid with the real facts to the fans, and don’t say why should they, because the fans pay out good money to watch them and sometimes I feel they deserve answers, especially when a problem like this arises! If a club isn’t more forthcoming with the facts in situations like this then nobody can blame the fans for drawing their own conclusions !

No, they shouldn’t. Just no!

He apparently had it written in his contract he signed under Coyle that he could commute from Carlisle as part of the agreement to signing for us.Rosler didn’t like this arrangement and told him unless he moved nearer to Wigan he would never play for us again.
If this is true then Rosler is a bigger prick than we all think.
I know Holt didn’t set the world on fire when he did play, but he didn’t play many games and was injured early on here at Wigan.
When came back after the summer he was a lot fitter and slimmer.I am sure he could still do the job we need him to do, score fucking goals.
I don’t want my centre forward running his bollox off down the wings etc, I want him in the fucking box either laying it off to his fellow striker or banging the fucking ball in the net.8 November 2014 at 10:09 pm #135232The thing is most of us can remember Grant Holt being a useless piece of shite last season, and he was! I apologize for the colourful language, but the whole situation really gets on my nerves.
Grant Holt did not become a bad striker overnight. He was being linked to the England squad just a few months before we signed him along with Ricky Lambert. I am not saying he is as good as Lambert. but they are very similar.Rosler should ask himself the following questions.
Would he have done any worse than the strikers we play at the moment?
Would he have scored less than any of them?
With him in the team would any one of the others playing along side him have scored more?
Do you think we would be where we are in the table now if he had been up front with one of the others playing off him?8 November 2014 at 10:46 pm #135240The thing is most of us can remember Grant Holt being a useless piece of shite last season, and he was! Football fans should be seen and not heard ! In that stand you are allowed the occasional round of applause and the odd dribble from your incontinent penis when things get a little exciting! :)

It’s too much hard work to occasionally applaud for 90% of the West Standers.
It is however, a lot warmer, there is more leg room, more room on the concourse and it’s less busy in the bogs for changing our incontinent pads at half time, so it’s not all bad.
