Here is a post on a Brentford Forum from October 2013. I know Halloween has passed but this is spookily familiar! Rosler OUT.
My own views differ. It is not about Stevenage nor 3 defeats. It is about the poor management at the end of last season and the continuing poor management this season. Combined with some abysmal signings. Let us recall we have scored 4 home goals the lowest in the league. We have even scored 3 of them in one game against arguably the worst side in our league. We have conceded 13 away goals almost the worst. This persistent poor form is down to Rosler not down to injuries nor bad luck. It is clear where our deficiencies are . Goalkeeper. Central defence. Defence generally. A roulette wheel approach to team selection. Our best players were on the bench last week.
This is not a panic opinion but a considered one that also notes Roslers refusal to explain to the fans any of his more bizarre selections. We cannot waste any more time nor money . Finally I am not enjoying this brand of football this season.8 November 2014 at 11:47 am #135153That is unreal, forward that on to big DaveW. I didn’t go last night for the first time in as long as I can remember as I’m totally ragged off with Rosler.
The camera went on DW sat in the stands and his face said it all. Don’t be surprised if he’s gone by Sunday, with international breaks it next weekend it gives time to get someone in.8 November 2014 at 1:42 pm #135167That is unreal, forward that on to big DaveW. 8 November 2014 at 2:30 pm #135175When rosler came in last season & effectively turned things around, i thought yes we have a decent manager who can do things with us. However by around march there seemed to be a different mentality around the team & the football served up wasn’t the best – we had lost our way & scraped through matches.
A lot of neutrals after the QPR play-offs said to me how unlucky we were not to get through. Im not sure if they were being polite, but imo, i thought we were sh1t in both games.
Roll onto this season & yes, i have only been to 3 games so far c/o work, but from what i’ve seen so far & from what i’ve read on here, i really am not very confident.
On the positive side, its only november & we are just 4 wins of a play off place. However, unless a settled side is picked on a regular basis, barring injuries, suspensions, loss of form etc., we can forget any top 6, let alone a top half finish.8 November 2014 at 3:26 pm #135183That is unreal, forward that on to big DaveW. Bit harsh, given what he has done for the club over the last 20 years.
Still, I wouldn’t expect anything any more intelligent
8 November 2014 at 3:37 pm #135185agree with you we have had 20 good years ,but now are we in for twenty bad ones
but the worrying part is in the end it was DW who chose the manager
and looking at last two they are both shyte and take away the FA cup and bob the judas was no better
more worrying is we are in decline no doubting that the proof is there to be seen
crowds falling ,quality of football going backwards ,a ground that will be too big for us maybe big dave might have to sell it or better still time for big dave to move on
if anyone will buy the club8 November 2014 at 3:41 pm #135187take away the FA cup :woohoo: :woohoo:
