Just read this on Vital.
It is looking extremely likely that Latics striker Oriol Riera is set for a return to Spain with negotiations at an advanced stage between the club and La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna surrounding a loan move until June 30 2015.Reports in Spain say that Levante, Malaga and Granada were also interested in taking the former Osasuna front man, who scored 15 La Liga goals last season, until the end of this campaign, but Deportivo have entered into negotiations and reached a deal with the Latics.
This 15 goal striker can not get in our team. I wonder what value they would put on our hot marksman Mr Fortune in Spain? Or have they not spotted our new super striker Mr McClean yet in Spain.

Maybe, just maybe, a bunch of professional football people who see these lads day in day out and see how well/badly they train/fit in to the English way of life know more than a few know-nowt armchair moaning twats.

So we base if the lad can score, been in the right place at the right time on dribbling round cones and 5 a sides oh, not forgetting piggy in the middle. If you based every player on the way they perform in training I could name 6-8 ex prem players who would have never got out of the Sunday leagues based on “training”.
There is no substitute for competitive football, Dicko proved that.
So Holt out , Delort not fancied, Riera on his way out on loan, it’s like were clearing out ready for the drop.
