Trouble is Egg at home we will not take advantage and Saturday will probably be exactly same scenario, so sad and hard to fathom out why. :( :(
19 March 2015 at 2:06 am #140486Perhaps it might be enough for us to win all the away games and lose at home. There is always one team who do the lead balloon job and I present to you the Cottagers, Fulham Football Club. :cheer: B)
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!19 March 2015 at 2:33 am #140488Bolton game kick started us last season so we can only hope
19 March 2015 at 9:59 am #140490with only 2 goals scored at home since the turn of the year I cannot see anything other than another defeat although the usual huff and puff will be there I’m sure.
Team selection is awful with misfiring so called strikers being selected every week and I can see no end to the poor home form.
We haven’t enough pace or quality to hurt teams in front of goal and we give the ball away on that joke of a football pitch.
First rule as a football club – spend money on the pitch so the team can play on it!19 March 2015 at 11:00 am #140494Then at the end of the season the pitch needs resting to take advantage of the growing season, which of course it wont and it will end up a midden again. Answer to our pitch is go for a modern artificial pitch if it is allowed.
19 March 2015 at 1:00 pm #140498The problem this season was our own success in that the football season extended two weeks into Summer because of the play-offs, and rugby had a game in August. It is likely the groundstaff will have longer to get the pitch in better condition than they had last Summer. Just a few weeks can make a lot of difference in getting the grass to knit together.
