Well, if it was that easy to predict outcomes of football matches we would all be rich by now. So you never know, the football Gods might just smile on little Wigan.
Like I posted earlier, if your are that confident; go put a Monkey on Rotherham. You can’t lose; can you ?Gary Caldwell’s certainly trying to get us playing decent football, feel that we might be in good hands with him, needs to be given time and the finances to have a real go at building a team we can take pride in again.
As for this season, maybe the seeds were sown with a disastrous pre-season and Uwe’s signings as well as some of the players here in August letting us down. Malky was a disaster on and off the pitch, but at least the current crop are giving it a go…all too late sadly, Reading are the sort of team that any club would want to play at this time of year, poor side, FA cup disappointment and nothing to play for, Rotherham will beat them comfortably I reckon

agree with the other poster they will comfortably beat Reading who like Brighton have been very lucky this season in my opinion ,two very poor teams blimey we took 7 points from a possible 12 off this pair.Time to think about next season now. Heard yesterday that Nicholls will start as number one with both keepers on their way. Perch is undecided whether he is staying and apart from Pearce, Waghorn and Huws the rest will be on their way. Just the one mistake he made, and that was it for him? Let’s hope that rumour is true.

From what I saw of him in that short spell in goal, I wouldn’t have a problem with him No1 next season.
This saga of “We can stay up” is like having a tooth pulled with grease on the pliers….. face it, were down and if anyone wants to put a few bob on us staying save yourself a trip to the bookies and just throw it down the nearest grid
