A great turn out at Alty the other night from Latics fans. The chippy couldn’t cope before hand. Must have been 700 of the 800 and odd crowd Latics fans. Would expect more to be there today.
A shame we do not have home friendlies or a few more nearer to home to give more of the squad players a full run out and for the fans to see the new players.18 July 2015 at 8:40 pm #143305Over 1200 tics in the 1800 crowd. Brilliant. Latics playing an ugly sideways game rather than pushing up. Winning two nil though.

19 July 2015 at 2:03 am #143312Let’s hope we can rely on own goals in the coming season …. at least they wont all be offside!!
19 July 2015 at 2:27 am #143313If we r forcing teams to score own goals and hitting the post and cross bar we will be fine when we start scoring
19 July 2015 at 2:35 am #143314Congratulations on remaining unbeaten against the 111th and 109th best sides in England.

From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!19 July 2015 at 12:44 pm #1433181200 looks about right as we filled half of that stand as well .
Not sure why Blunderland fans keep coming on here to slag our club off as we are now two divisions apart although we may be playing each other again next year.
yrsterday reminded me of the old days stood on a terrace and it was good.19 July 2015 at 4:55 pm #143323Not sure why Sunderland fans keep coming on here to slag our club off as we are now two divisions apart although we may be playing each other again next year. Thanks for reminding everyone of that. Some on here were convinced that it would be a fixture in the 2015/16 season ;)
I suppose there’s always a cup match to dream of this season – if you can see off the mighty shakers and whoever you draw in rounds 1 & 2 of the FA Cup.
Speaking of the FA Cup, when was the last time a club was forced to take part in an FA Cup tie in the November, within 30 months of lifting the trophy?
