It’s no coincidence!Whilst I see your general point, I hardly think it applies to Leon Clarke – bar a prolific spell over the course of a calendar year at Coventry his only reputation was as a plodding journeyman of a striker who’s been at 19 different clubs in 12 years & who if a club signs permanently, is usually shipped out on loan relatively soon afterwards.
Also I hardly think that 4 goals at the start of a season is an indicator that he’s now got his mojo back & is gonna continue banging them in for the rest of the seasonDéjà vu, that’s what that is! You’ve got the wrong player man! Also my ‘Ruined’ comment was a general remark aimed at the strikers we have had over the last 2 seasons!
