I have copied this from Vital in case anyone has not seen it. It is all very good positive stuff really. Thanks Vital and Bert.
Found myself having a few minutes spare and so I have extracted the twitter Questions and Answers.
I hope I haven’t missed anything with the three posts.Questions and Answers (first to last) for those that don’t do twitter. Judging by some of the questions and comments … I am suprised David Sharpe does… ouch
As usual a few toothless simpletons who pretend to support Horwich FC tried to be funny and failed miserably.Q. When will the statue of Dave Whelan be built outside the ground? And what was your favourite wigan moment apart from fa cup?
A. Nov 2016. I want it to be a surprise for his 80th birthday, so hopefully he doesn’t look on Twitter.Q. How many points out of 10 would you mark the club on the season so far, explain the reasons why please ?
A. With the overhaul of the squad and our home form I would give us a seven. The away form needs to improve.Q. Young players are our foundation, I know money is tight now, but what progress is being made re: the academy.
A. I meet with Gregor Rioch on a regular basis, he’s very excited about the current state of the Academy.
If the club is to have a big future, the Academy will play a big part of it.Q. Where do get those fitted shirts from?

18 September 2015 at 7:15 pm #144804Q. Have you got any plans to help try get to that 100 point target?
A. There’s a big difference between ‘want’ and ‘will’, who wouldn’t want their football club to dominate the league?
Any owner, manager or fan would ‘want’ their club to get 100 points.
The target has always been promotion, and I will never regret being ambitious.Q. Given the option would you rather be on Celebrity Big Brother, I’m a Celebrity or Strictly Come Dancing?
A. It’s not really my sort of thing, but if anything, the jungle with Jimmy Bullard!Q. Which player has impressed you most so far this season?
A. Craig Davies. On his day he’s unplayable. And David Perkins, he runs to away games instead of getting the coach.Q. would you come and sit in the stands with the fans on a away game
A. Definitely, I’ve been in with the away fans a lot before supporters recognised me.Q. What happened with the Jermaine Pennant contract?
A. I offered him a deal which he turned down in May. I then got a phone call from his agent when I was in Scotland. He asked if a deal was still on the table, but we had just signed Michael Jacobs. So I said we have to move on. I would like to wish Jermaine all the best, he’s a good pro.Q. Where do you want the club to be in the next 5years?
A. It’s a big rebuilding process, we’ve seen what can go wrong over 2 years. However, I have high hopes for the future.Q. Does the big drop in attendance worry you, and do you think it may have an effect on our long term ambitions
A. It doesn’t worry me, attendances change with performances. The fans who still come are an absolute credit to us.Q. What happened to the James Vaughan deal?
A. It’s not right to talk publicly about another club’s player. We wouldn’t want this happening to us.Q. Apart from Gary Caldwell, which other former players would make good managers?
A. Roberto.Read more: http://www.wigan.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=29263&posts=11#ixzz3m6EcGndk
