Firstly, I think there was a miss-count. It says there were 7991 there, but I didn’t go, so I assume it is 7990.
I watched the written game on ‘Latics Wall’.
I was chuffed to bits that we scored first.
It was great that there was such a good atmosphere.
It was fantastic to read that there was so much possession.
The fact we had so many corners suggested we were probably in the right half.
Seemed like lotsa lads were aiming at goal. That can’t be bad.
Senor Martinez wanted the players to dribble into the goal, after 20 minutes of build up passing, allowing the oppo to form a defensive wall harder to break down than Israel’s apartheid wall. A lot of our goals this season have been from outside the box, or at least a good non dribbling thump.
We came back from 2 – 1, and nearly snatched a win … that was unheard of last season.
Drummer boy is creating a crackin’ atmosphere.
I want Jacobs goal celebration to spread to the crowd for every goal we score, it has a hint of ‘Gangnam Style’.
There was some nice football last night.
