1,677 from Latics. Not bad that at all. That will go up if we can get some sort of a winning run together. Claims from one Bury fan online that it was ten Bury players v twelve Latics.
Rumours were that at one time Whelan intervened on Bobby’s tactics and Graham Jones took temporary control, started playing football and kept us up in 2012. That was just a rumour though but what did happen was we started playing football and stayed up. We have players capable of playing that way but the decision is Garys as to when he does. At the moment it seems to be when we are losing but who knows things could start looking better when DLA Davies and Grigg are back.

I know I didn’t believe the rumour but something changed and we played better football and it kept us up and for that we showed Bob the gratitude he deserved but first match of the new season it was straight back to the negative ways.
