If ever you are at a loose end and can’t get to a Latics away match, try and get to a local match such as these 2.
I used to go Ashton Town as I grew up but now live closer to Athletic. Both cracking set ups and always welcome of a few quid spent in the clubhouse.
I bobbed over Athletic yesterday as I heard the refs whistle from the garden and it was the U18’s when I got there. Free entry, superb football, I mean really good for a young side and some cracking goals in a 7-0 win v Chadderton, pie, pint and a pop for the little un, beltin Sunday afternoon spent.
Will second this, go often. A great cheap break from League football. The standard isn’t too bad either.
