Well two one off games against either Barnsley Fleetwood or Morecambe and we are there. It would be great and a confidence booster rather than distraction. A good chance providing we show the opposition the respect they deserve.
11 November 2015 at 2:18 am #145729The area final is two legs is it not?

11 November 2015 at 2:39 am #1457313 or 4 players did themselves proud tonight with their performances, notably Kellett, Murray, Pearce and Hiwula. Steady games from Flores, Chow, and Cowie. It will be interesting to see GC’s starting 11 on satdy, really looking forward to it.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!11 November 2015 at 2:50 am #145732Sorry I thought the final was a one off. It don’t think it says two legs on the JPT website.

Area SF draw will be made on Saturday (14th)
11 November 2015 at 10:42 am #145738Yes it is clear on there. As my mum used to say ‘ looking with my eyes shut’
Cheers.
Saturdays draw is on Soccer Saturday.
At least the final is a few weeks before the play offs, if we have to go twice.
Hopefully it is automatic promotion to avoid this and hopefully we can make Wembley again.11 November 2015 at 1:24 pm #145739Sorry I thought the final was a one off. It don’t think it says two legs on the JPT website. The area finals (ie;.northern & southern) are 2 legged – played home & away, bit like the league cup semi finals. The area finals are effectively semis. The big grand final played at wembley is a one off occasion.

The problem is, we’ll make changes whereas they could go all out for a trip to Wembley.

I was going to put something along those lines Egg (if he takes it seriously that is) but didn’t want to come across as negative. Let’s hope he does, so we can have another trip down south, and face the “what used to be”, regular train chaos!!

Was he seen to be taking it seriously on Tuesday with 10 changes from Saturday?.
Didn’t do us any harm. B)From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!13 November 2015 at 1:25 pm #145800Fact is we’ve a better squad than anything in the lower leagues and should get to Wembley, it will be a royal fck up if we don’t. You forget how a lot of these players will have only dreamed at playing at Wembley, it should be enough to get us there imo.
On another note has anybody jumped the gun and booked anything for a stopover down there? ;)
13 November 2015 at 3:20 pm #145802On another note has anybody jumped the gun and booked anything for a stopover down there? ;)I haven’t booked owt but I did spend quite a while on Wednesday looking at train times & prices and hotel costs for doing a Friday through Monday stay over with the family.
Train prices weren’t too bad at the time but there were no cheap hotels coming up like I found for the cup final -
