Hopefully a win at Walsall but just wondered why Are the Rugby playing a stupid fixture at The DW tonight? Anyone know. Seen some of them complaining of having a fixture moved back a day but wouldn’t it have made sense for them To have played the Salford game this weekend whilst Latics were away and the meaningless game against Brisbane could have been played on a neutral venue. Is this not sensible and a way of keeping everyone happy. Bolton may have been glad of some rental for the Wigan Bribane friendly.
20 February 2016 at 5:32 pm #147314I think the lads will be up for it today. Close & hard fought game resulting in a 2 – 1 win for us.
20 February 2016 at 5:55 pm #147315Let us hope so Runcorn, then let us push on for automatic. Just waiting to see how many changes this week.

Now fingers crossed the eggs get tonked in the semi final of the world championship. Ffs!
Two pit villages, a cattle herders ranch and three sheep shearing outposts and your champion of the world. Laughable. Never Forget!21 February 2016 at 12:24 am #147320Game of two half’s today, we had the first and I thought they had the second. Great win at one of our rivals for automatic  Only away win in League one today!
Great celebrations when Yanics goal went in. How many invaded the pitch….
The Millwall game is building up to be a massive game if they keep winning.
21 February 2016 at 1:03 am #147321Runcorn did you have a bet on it

We looked the class team for all the 95 mins in my opinion.
They had a 15-20 min spell after they scored when I thought we might lose it after having enough chances to be 3-4 up. however, during that spell we defended resolutely and deserved to get the winner.A special mention to our two latest additions to the squad. Sam Morsy is the ultimate play breaker and wants to get us moving forward even when in a tight position. I’ve said it before that in my opinion, Ryan Colclough is the best player I’ve seen in this league and that includes Donald Dack.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!21 February 2016 at 10:54 pm #147353Two good footballing teams yesterday JR, and thought it was going to be a tight affair beforehand. Thought first half we looked very comfortable, much the better team. Second half they stepped up a gear and at times we couldn’t seem to get out of our half. But we did defend well & good for the 3 points.
Totally agree about Morsy & Colclough, two great prospects IMO. Colclough’s approach play is great, just needs to show a little more composure in & around the box.
