The cheapest way to get there would be to walk, but a coach or an advanced train ticket my be easier.

Shove iron would be quicker than walking though. A racer with five gears would be grand or one of them with a Sturmey Archer three speed with the gears on the handle bar that when you changed you had to peddle backwards. Belters them and with a basket on the front for pies and other assorted Jack Bait. Could tie the scarf to the handle bars for bombing down the A49 at 5 MPH. Lunch in Whitchurch, Tea in Shrewsbury and super in Hereford then early breakfast and a trumble down to Bristol for a brew at Ian Kilfords Auntie before the match.

You’d have to fix a peg on your spokes to give that authentic motorbike sound as you’re bombing down the road.
Don’t forget your metal bike clips for around you ankles to stop your jeans snaggin’ in the chain, or you could tuck your jeans in your socks, that would work.

Bedminster for pre match quaff is good. Got absolutely bladdered one year called in at Tewkesbury en-route back to Nuneaton and our Maude was not impressed. She would have worn my man spuds for earings next day but for the tragic events in Paris that night. Princess Diana had died and really took the gloss off the weekend and to round off a miserable and painful trip we lost 3-0.
