According to G Caldwell both may feature at some stage over the weekends matches, but he has to be careful with Will ‘due to the hard summer he has had’.
Is he being serious? He had a month off, played 10 minutes in a friendly prior to the Euros, had three weeks in the French sunshine watching football, came back and had another week off before spending a day at Euxton training. How the fuck do they cope with such a tiring schedule.
I know he was on fire prior to the summer but surely he can’t be burnt out.
Get the fucker playing before he forgeets where th’onion bag is.15 July 2016 at 12:13 am #149484Its not often I agree with you but I do here.
I guess its bloody tiring being an internet song sensation across Europe whilst you frantically avoid getting splinters in your arse in case the whole subs bench goes up in a fireball.

15 July 2016 at 1:09 am #149487OK he didn’t get game time in France, but was training every day with the Irish squad, whilst the rest of his latics team mates where sunning themselves in some tropical haven.
I can fully understand why GC is cautious about bringing Will back too soon.

He’s had a weeks
holiday, ‘warm weather traning’ in Portugal aswell, so I suppose that will have added to his exhaustion.15 July 2016 at 2:10 pm #149489Well after watching our second and third choice lone strikers at Chester he will need to be on fire again this year.

We are certainley light in that department.
