Good luck to him in the future, it is better to find out he has a problem this way unlike the unfortunate Marc Vivien Foe. RIP.

Our record signing, including Ryan Taylor going the other way. Newcastle worked out it was the only way they could stop him scoring against them :lol:
Kept us up virtually single handed in 2010-11; who could forget the winner against Spam to send them down….
That goal against Arsenal in April 2010 when we had been 2-0 down with 11 min to go. Watson scored to make it 1-2 (sure he scored another famous goal for us…it’s my age, damned if I can remember where or when it was), Titus B headed over the line when the keeper fumbled it 2-2. Then Fig “belts it long for Rodellega to chase”, Hugo passes to Charlie and bangs it in off the post, keeper rooted to the spot.
What memories those were…cheers Charlie and have a good night’s sleep B)
The west ham game is probably my favourite home game of all time, 2nil down at half time, the brooding atmosphere, the Millwall plane, the rugby fans celebrating our relegation on cherry and white. We were relegated with a minute to go then Charlie put the ball between the Greens legs, cue Ali’s celebrations and a fantastic trip to Stoke.

Two great stand out games for me with Charlie, West Ham & Arsenal :woohoo: Great player on his day.
Yup, great player. Roberto had no idea how to manage him so just told him to get on the pitch and ‘do what you do best’. A free agent, a roamer …… blinkin’ great player. Some footballers just can’t be tamed …. so let them do what comes naturally.
