Why an extra £7 on the day? Fuckin rip off!
Will the ticket office be doing 30% more work that day or getting 30% more pay?The answer to both is no so why do fans have to pay 30% more on the day?

Will the ticket office be doing 30% more work that day …..Yes. Because they’ll have to deal with the typical Wiganers who will roll up at 5 minutes to kick off and then moan and get agitated there’s a queue. If someone is going then get your ticket earlier. If you only want to get it on the day then be warned that it’ll be more expensive.

The cost for this match is and always was £27 on the day.
The club have obviously realised their pricing structure may have had an adverse affect on matchday punters, so are giving nearly 1 months notice to fans who want to save a few bob by getting a ticket well in advance.Why should it be more expensive on the day to watch the same game as someone who purchased a ticket 2 days earlier?
And i’m almost certain the ticket office closes at 2pm on Saturdays and 7pm Weekdays (matchdays)

Quite simple really, It was just to let fans know of the great offer from the club and was never meant to be a debate with an argumentative fucker like you as to the rights and wrongs of out ticketing stategy.
Twenty is plenty. Not a bad gesture but since it’s on Sky won’t make much difference to the crowd. Their 5k and our 10k will make it around 15000. Hope Grigg is not too tired for this one. Poor thing.
Twenty quid is hardly a great offer. It is what a top priced ticket should be. Cheap season tickets are great gestures at what they are.

A lot of events ( outside of football ) also have a pricing policy whereby its cheaper to purchase your tickets in advance. In fact, it’s just about every event that I have been to in the last two years !
