it was Jason Scotland that missed the penalty at Stoke do you think people would have reacted the same or (like me) do you think people would have been on here slating him saying he’s the worst player to wear the shirt, he’s fat, lazy, bla bla bla……?
It is amazing to see and hear fans/supporters who sit around me at home games get on his back. When he gives the ball away, misses a chance or doesn’t run for the ball (that is a lost cause) people are moaning and name calling yet when Hugo (for example) does the same he gets applauded and his name echo’s round the east stand. Believe it or not, when he hit the post against Sunderland a fat lad behind me shouted your sh*t scotland. Now that wasn’t an easy chance and he was within an inch of scoring what I believe would have been a great goal, one many top strikers would have been proud of, under presssure from 2 defenders, ball played behind him at pace…….

depends if i have to shop at aldi or tesco, but i would go for beatie up fronti thought the same myself the other day about beattie,if he is on his way out of sjoke then we could do worse than try and pinch him on the cheap,prem experience,good partner for rodd if we go for the 2 up option.still think we would need to buy another striker tho. 1 name that cropped up the other day was david healy,always thought he was a good player but just hasnt happened last few seasons,maybe he needs a new club??
