5 December 2016 at 9:33 pm #152849Number 43 in the draw 7pm BBC 2 tonight who would you like barrow away would be niceStrangely enough that’s what I was thinking, having walked past their ground a few weeks ago. Quite fancy a trip to Holker Street
I think Barrow might be hoping for a Premier League team
I’m in 2 minds as ever at this stage who we want to draw. Do we want lower or non league opposition for a couple of rounds; see a few of the big boys knock each other out and a couple of upsets as well…another Championship team in R5 and we can almost see the Arch again….
Or get ManUre/Chelsea etc at home and get a tonking but have a big day out?
We have a habit of getting a team from our own division away, so probably Derby or Notts F away….
5 December 2016 at 9:47 pm #152850I want either Barrow or Carlisle away.
My first ever game was Barrow v Tranmere Rovers at Holker Street in about 1968. I remember a quagmire of a pitch, moving ends at half time and no stroker phones to keep up with other results ….. but small transistor radios.
And Mary Hopkins singing “Those were the Days” ……….
5 December 2016 at 10:22 pm #152851Now there’s a story.
Last time we went to Barrow, we had at least seven in Donny’s car.
And on the way back it was an eventless journey for six of us.5 December 2016 at 10:26 pm #152852Citeh at home for me.

Carlisle would quite like to be in the 3rd round draw no doubt… ;)
5 December 2016 at 11:01 pm #152854Home to P.N.E.
5 December 2016 at 11:04 pm #152855A bit of a distraction if we do go on a cup run, i would rather us concentrate on getting the points to stay in the championship.
Fuck the EFL
5 December 2016 at 11:17 pm #152856Told you we’d get Notts F….
At least we’re at home :woohoo:
6 December 2016 at 1:19 am #152857Well that is very winnable.
6 December 2016 at 11:42 am #152858Well that is very winnable.Absolutely – and if we don’t win it then it won’t be any disgrace. A good draw overall.
