I feel totally short changed by the operation of the ticket office today. I am a loyal season ticket holder, so is my daughter, and so is my son.
Firstly I work during the day, so my realistic best option was to buy tickets online. All our season tickets are linked to my login details on the website, so I am able to buy tickets for the 3 of us.
After logging in just after 9am and being held on a waiting page I finally get into find that website defaults to “best available” and wont let me select any tickets. I try again, again, and again no change.I try the phone, understandably busy, 40th in queue…30th in queue..20th in the queue – GET CUT OFF!
This happens another couple of times !!I then try on my phone (mobile websites are often different entities). I am able to select 3 tickets for purchase, and then assign 1 to myself, 1 to my daughter, and 1 to my son.
Press “Checkout” and the website says Im not allowed to buy those many tickets!!!! It wouldn’t allow me to buy us each a ticketTried on the phone in my lunch break – SOLD OUT! which is exactly how I feel. No I don’t, I feel well and truly f**ked off!

Any chance of removing this please? Exact same rant/lecture on another page.
19 January 2017 at 9:33 pm #154384Im that p**sed off about it, I thought it deserved a topic of its own. This version has some typing mistakes fixed too. This spleen venting is supposed to be therapeutic. All the united fans in the Wigan corner wont care that its posted twice :)

19 January 2017 at 9:56 pm #154390Try sending it to the club instead of on hereNot sure what can be done about it now, but yes probably better to contact the club or Jason/Ian the SLOs to bring up at their next meeting with the club.

And if they did, they’ll be easy to spot, they’ll be the ones wearing the big pointed hats with a D on it.
