What a journey!21 January 2017 at 11:35 pm #154470Not to be a spectre at the feast, but we need to manage our expectations, and not get carried away, but we have a great platform to build on.
Before we next play a league game Blackburn and Burton will both play two (home to Blackpool and Leeda, and away to QPR and home to Fulham respectively). If either get one point from either of their two games then we will be back in the bottom 3. So let’s just pause for breath, and be grateful how we are looking and playing.
But if they do not both gain maximum points from those games then we are again in the driving seat. Norwich will be difficult, but the fact that we are at home in both games works in our favour.
Let’s not relax and assume we are out of the doo-dah – but we are looking good.
21 January 2017 at 11:48 pm #154472Maybe I’m reading it wrong but how can Blackburn be playing Blackpool in the league before our next league match?
21 January 2017 at 11:53 pm #154474Are we heckers like out of it. But you can’t knock 3 wins out of 3.

So Blackburn will have ONE game, and Burton have two.22 January 2017 at 12:15 am #154483With this fella in charge we will be safe, no worries! The whole dynamics of the team look totally different and with the players we have reckon we’ll finish mid table, comfortably.

22 January 2017 at 11:54 pm #154511Seems to have awakened the old spirit with a few tweaks and yesterday’s performance was by far the best at the DW this season.
I think it is bye bye bottom three and some teams might be surprised at the teams turnaround from now on.23 January 2017 at 3:56 pm #154518Clawing our way out of bottom 3 is a great start so now we need to kick on and pull away.An abundance of midfield staff but blindingly obvious we have to get a striker or 2 in before months end.I won’t be critical of Grigg as I think he is a superb in the box finisher.Have not played to his strengths in recent games as some of our final balls have been toss ,but we must sign a forward asap and no doubt behind the scenes we are trying.Usually find a team plummets down the league and joins the relegation fight but I think it’s a 2 from 3 ,us ,Burton,Rovers and at the moment we are starting to get things right .
24 January 2017 at 2:22 am #154528You have overlooked Bristol City who are falling like the proverbial lead balloon. I think it will be Rotherham, Bristol City and one other that I believe wont be us or Blackburn.
