Whether you like it or not that’s our only option now without playing midfielders out of position.
LeFondre now gone to Bolton so we are now left with one striker, in Will Grigg. Many fans don’t rate him at this level so is there someone on the way?27 January 2017 at 2:29 am #154639Lets hope so Donny, we seemed to have had four problem positions Goalkeeper, Right back, Midfield and Centre forward.
Three out of the four have been dealt with and it has made a difference (3 from 3) but still no striker, yet we keep bringing in players for other positions. we have midfielders in abundance, more players to come back from injury, yet we leave ourselves with only one recognised striker.
If Grigg has a couple of sleepless nights with his baby and is too tired to play we are goosed!
Fuck the EFL

27 January 2017 at 10:57 am #154642We seem to be an exercise yard for players who can’t break into the squad of their parent clubs but the loanee keeper and right back seem ok but not sure about any of the others yet.
Would prefer them to be risked at Old Trafford rather than against Sheffield Weds.27 January 2017 at 12:10 pm #154643We seem to be an exercise yard for players who can’t break into the squad of their parent clubs but the loanee keeper and right back seem ok but not sure about any of the others yet.
Would prefer them to be risked at Old Trafford rather than against Sheffield Weds. When i mentioned midfield i meant bringing Morsy back, i cant think why we brought Tunnicliffe back!

27 January 2017 at 12:48 pm #154644Well letting Morsy and others go and wholesale change put us in this situation. Good luck Chesterfield fans.

I can only presume it’s because Joyce rates him so highly – having worked with him before.Hopefully he’ll be a good influence on him as he was in the same youth team as Pogba and Lingard but was considered a better prospect than either of them.
27 January 2017 at 2:51 pm #154646Morrison training with QPR ahead of a possible move.
27 January 2017 at 3:29 pm #154648expected we wouldnt sign him due to wages asking for far too much …cant blame him though
27 January 2017 at 6:57 pm #154649Morrison training with QPR ahead of a possible move.At almost 300 million pounds in debt and the sixth biggest debtor in world football it stands to reason QPR would find the money to pay him.
All we do at Latics is to try to work within our means and these lot just do what they want. Financial regulations ??????? -
