Quickly becoming our most insane signing ever.
The bloody replacement for our best and most influential midfielder/Wideman we have had this season (Yanic) and he doesn’t play. Six matches without a start. A complete and utter pathetic joke. Do we really want to stay in this league?? Bound to come on now and be a game changer!21 February 2017 at 11:14 pm #155651Quickly becoming our most insane signing ever.

I can’t believe you don’t know whats going on with the players, he told us when he signed Obertan that he was not match fit, hasn’t kicked a ball since early December. I’m sure he’s getting fitter by the day so please listen to what the manager says instead of going off on one. What would you have said if WJ had chosen not to sign him because it would take 3-4 weeks for him to get match fit? You would have moaned about that saying why turn a class player down cos he needs to get match fit.
I’ve said it before and will say it again WJ can’t win with some of you on here. It was moan, moan, fekin moan about not having two up front, or two strikers in the starting 11, now we have that, it’s shifted to why no Obertan. :angry:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!21 February 2017 at 11:21 pm #155652JR my point is if he wasn’t fit to play when we signed him then we shouldn’t have signed him. We lost our winger and needed a winger who could contribute to saving us from relegation by playing games.

If it takes another couple of weeks to get him fit, he could play 10-12 games for us, thats a potential 36 points. Course he should have signed him and yes he will fill the void that Yannick left. I truly hope that he makes a better impact than our friend has made at Norwich, their fans are saying he is not fit and can’t get round a man.
The Wigan Athletic deserters curse anyone? :lol:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!21 February 2017 at 11:40 pm #155654Pointless signing so far…..what about last 20 mins on Saturday ?..Jesus how unfit is he ?..Is he unfit for last 20 or is it just that Joyce craps himself if he can see a risk of us possibly grabbing 3pts ?…Hope he make me eat these words but we needed someone straight away not when it could be too late…Let’s sit back and watch it unfold…..

I cannot believe the shortsightedness and lack of understanding of this situation by posters on here, posters who I don’t think are thickos. Your becoming to sound like those kids sitting in the back seat of the car during a long journey “are we there yet?”
On another note, I wish Horc and Donny would stop liking each other’s posts, its actually bordering on cringeworthy. :sick:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!22 February 2017 at 2:05 am #155669Thirteen matches of his Latics career left. Shortsitedness is probably brought on because the lad has only been signed for a short period.
He was needed six matches ago.22 February 2017 at 2:13 am #155673What is baffling is that Grigg is getting a start before him. Obertan must be very, very, very unfit.

He was needed six matches ago.How unfit can he have been, its not like they were trying to get one of us match fit.
He must be nearing full match fitness by now.
Hopefully he should feature heavily in the next thirteen matches.22 February 2017 at 2:21 am #155678Thirteen matches of his Latics career left. Shortsitedness is probably brought on because the lad has only been signed for a short period.
He was needed six matches ago.OK let me put it this way, if my Mrs said, right I can do two things next Christmas, I will buy you a Volkswagen Polo and you can have it on Christmas day, or, you can wait for the January sales and I’ll buy you a top of the range Merc. What do you think I would you do?
WJ arranged a behind closed doors match last week to give the new signings a bit of match practice. There is a difference between being fit and being match fit. He is doing what he can to get some extra bodies up to speed. It would be totally unfair on the new signings to get them on the field and have them blowing bubbles trying to keep tabs on the opposition or when trying to break away from their shackles.
I’ve said enough on this matter now, lets get behind them saturday, whoever wears the shirts. :cheer:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!22 February 2017 at 2:21 am #155679What is baffling is that Grigg is getting a start before him. Obertan must be very, very, very unfit. What position is Grigg actually meant to be playing in anyway? It’s definitely not as a striker in the box. Obertan isn’t a striker anyway. The whole farce is a shambles. How about trying Obertan as a Teale Grigg as an Ellington and Bogle as a Roberts. Things couldn’t get any worse. May be worth a try sometime.

He’s here to get fit for a bigger things. Do you think he’d be here if we trained Christopher Park ?’ Total utter waste of time. Joyce fook off Blackburn and take fat baldylocks bestie mate with him.

Doesn’t matter what position he’s supposed to playing, he’s been a passenger this season and not worth his place in the team. If and when Obertan is fit I think Joyce will revert back to Bogle up front with Obertan doing the Wildshut role.
