Heineken is on offer in the Supporters Club (South Stand Bar) today for £2, plus player appearance (Shaun McDonald and apparently this is going to be happening every game….Not being funny lad but 2 quid for Heineken is still way too expensive. Can’t drink it and if was on sale for a bob a bucketful I would still sup summat else. Fosters, Heineken and Carlsberg are all horrible and I avoid them like the plague.
Like it or not, club offering one of the most popular lagers in the country for £2 is a good offer for the majority that want a lager, guess not everyone does though!
£2 for a beer in a stadium in today’s day and age….can’t say fairer than that.
The club is definitely improving its supporters relations!
Think I’ll be sticking with the Anvil for my pre match ale, but I suppose if Cheryl Cole ever got a job pulling pints in the supporters bar then I may be tempted give it ago.
