If it was you …. thank you!! On Saturday I bought tickets at the ticket office and then ran at Nathan Byrne speed to the shop to buy christmas presents. At the till after having checked 9 pockets I discovered my wallet was nowhere to be found.
With no wallet, 6 mins to ko, no tickets and no christmas presents I was getting in a tizz. Back to the ticket office to see if it was still there. NOPE. Tizz levels rising rapidly to near on panic ….. so back I went to the shop.
It was becoming a typical Wigan after noon – anxious, edge of the seat, nail biting and the game hadn’t even started.
“I’ll ask this steward” I thought as I went back to Emma in the shop.
Well!! Who ever you are … THANKYOU. It had bounced out of my pocket as I did my Jacobs like dash and you kindly handed it to the great steward who got a big hug from me.
Relief. T H A N K Y O U!! Utter total releif. Then we won. It all turned out fine oh, thanks again. WIN – W I N! If it was you, let me know, and summut will come your way.
Glad you got it back. There are far more honest people around than dishonest, it’s a shame we don’t always hear about them.
