Just sacked their manager
13 March 2018 at 12:58 am #167345Could really do with them being managerless on Sunday, or better still what’s OFC up to these days.
13 March 2018 at 1:49 am #167347He would probably mastermind a win.
13 March 2018 at 8:01 am #167349MARK Hughes being linked and they hope to get a new man in for the weekend.
I hope they don’t.
13 March 2018 at 11:06 am #167352The fact that Southampton have dispensed with their manager the week before a QF and just before an international break tells me that premiership survival is more important than an FA Cup semi final. They don’t play again in the league until 31 March when they have a massive match at West Ham.
They are there for the taking on Sunday.
13 March 2018 at 2:32 pm #167355Let’s hope so Mutty. Let’s carry on making history. To take four premier league scalps and reach the semi final in that same season can not possibly have been done before by a third division club.
When are Hollywood coming to Wigan???13 March 2018 at 3:03 pm #167359Bad for us this one, players will have something to prove now to a perspective new manager whoever he may be, Cook !!!
No really that is a Badly run club 8 games left that’s what you call a balls up it should of been 5 games ago he went.13 March 2018 at 5:35 pm #167363Southampton were terrible at the weekend so I was optimistic about this game. Be tougher now for sure especially as our performances of late have not been up to their normal standards.
14 March 2018 at 12:19 am #167370Looks like being a big away following on Sunday but reading their fans forums quite a few don’t fancy their chances. If we can make a good start it might be a quiet away end the negativity will spread like a wildfire. Lets ES2 are up for it.
15 March 2018 at 10:53 am #167393I’m working in Southampton this week funnily enough and what a turn around beginning of the week they thought shxt we’re out then they sacked their manager and they think they’ll win and it added another 1000 fans to their away following and now Hughes is their manager it will be an away day sell out and no problem beating us, their problem was the players had the talent but their manager had shot down their confidence and now Sparky has arrived they’ll be up for it.I think our run is coming to an end (that’s in the Final).
15 March 2018 at 11:12 am #167394When are Hollywood coming to Wigan???I heard he was coming to wigan soon to record an episode of bake off.

After being thrown out of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Matt Hollywood has formed a new band with Bobby Hecksher and Jason “Plucky” Anchondo from The Warlocks. Bobby for a change is on bass and jason is as usual on drums. The new stuff is similar to Matt’s earlier bands ‘The Rebel Drones’ and ‘The Out Crowd’ and obviously similar to the BJM stuff seeing as Matt wrote quite a lot of their earlier stuff. Here’s a track from his new collaboration which could be any of the above mentioned bands! ;)
16 March 2018 at 2:32 pm #167432I reckon and hope Hughes’ remit us survival at all costs. There last games after us are WHU, Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester, Bournemouth, Everton and Man City. They will look at just 3 of those games that they think they will get anything out of.
16 March 2018 at 2:56 pm #167437Southampton could very well go all the way and win the thing
…. and get relegated.

That could never happen surely?
