Called up by Egypt so who would you pair in midfield. Id take a punt on Power and Powell that would let us go with Grigg and Vaughn up top but reckon it will be Perkins.
Hope it’s not the lad from Swansea
19 March 2018 at 11:43 pm #167603Perkins and Power should do a job as defensive midfielders. Perks didn’t have the best of games against Scunthorpe but the crap performance was probably down to playing Power as a right sided midfielder rather than Perkins taking the blame.
20 March 2018 at 11:37 pm #167632I’d put Walker in but he’s not even making bench at moment, is he injured?
21 March 2018 at 2:06 am #167641Not 100% sure but was told due to family bereavement
21 March 2018 at 5:17 pm #167651Stick Roberts upsides Power, gotta give the guy credit were it’s due, he’s awesome for about 60 odd minutes till the legs give way. Hopefully we’ll be home and hosed by then
21 March 2018 at 7:28 pm #167654Could actually rest Cracker and give Roberts a go at attacking left and play Colclough on the right with Powell in the middle with Vaughan up top on his lonesome. Just as long as there isn’t a rush of blood and the shape is taken away like in the Scunthorpe match. Sure Coco would be better with Byrne at right back. On the Byrne front let’s hope he can repeat last Sunday’s first half performance in the league. James could be back tonight and why not rest Burn and give Bruce a run out.
21 March 2018 at 8:18 pm #167655Why not play both Grigg and Vaughan, Sunday was proof enough how good we can be so lets push Walsall back from the off and hopefully take a few of the chances we missed against the Saints. Roberts is very one footed and surely we can overcome the Saddlers without having to overun midfield and be cautious. We need 2 wins at all cost so lets go for it and try to put the games to bed instead of the usual nervy outcomes. C,Mon you tics.

Grigg just come on for Vaughan. Never gonna happen lads, get over it! ;)
22 March 2018 at 5:58 pm #167669But 1 team has won the PL since 2005 playing 442 so it must work.
22 March 2018 at 10:24 pm #167682With his two game ban and now missing two games for International friendlies he can miss some more it’s 3 wins out of 3 with 1 to play.
