Must admit, thought Walsall were holding their own unroll that mad 15 minutes and 3 goals. Trmendous
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
22 March 2018 at 1:15 pm #167660I figured it would be a tough game, I don’t think Walsall are a bad side on their day. Just inconsistent. Their number 10, Otzumer, looked a good playmaker at the DW.
To win it as you say, that’s the sign of a good side. Being clinical and wrapping it up, it’s the sort of thing United did for years under Ferguson. They might not have had their best game of the season, but were clinical when it mattered.
Great win.
22 March 2018 at 3:52 pm #167665Great win last night. But how come no one ever comes on to praise the lads for their win. Had we have lost last night, this site would have had a meltdown.

Performances mean f*** all at this stage. I’ll take the 3 points, improving our GD and turning the screw on those above. A win at Bury on Saturday and Rovers now start having to win games as well just to stay in the top 2.
I’ve a mate who supports Blackburn and usually I want them to do well but after their willy waving over being top when they’ve played more games than anyone else and their petulance after they blew a 2-0 lead at home I’m hoping they finish 3rd.

From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!22 March 2018 at 11:15 pm #167685You’re right there JR but not quite a meltdown because there are so few people use this forum and Latics Speyk win or loose to cause much more than a little cuffufle.
Probably more discussion on Shrewsbury’s forum re last night’s match than on our two forums put together.
Anyway that was a fabulous result one way and another. Defender an midfielders scoring which we need to see with our system. Rests for a few players. Pressure put on the rivals. Points in the bag. A game in hand won. Confidence booster after the cup defeat. Pass of Premier League quality too from Nick Powell in setting up Cracker.
Well done to Paul Cook and the lads and more of it Saturday.23 March 2018 at 12:48 am #167687You’re right there JR but not quite a meltdown because there are so few people use this forum and Latics Speyk win or loose to cause much more than a little cuffufle.

Well done to Paul Cook and the lads and more of it Saturday. That pass of Nick Powells was sublime and that is the reason he should be the first name on the teamsheet every match.
It was the kind of pass only he out of our squad is capable of and the kind of pass we haven’t seen from any other Latics player since Jordi Gomez.23 March 2018 at 1:57 am #167688The changes in personnel didn’t do us any harm either. Fultons goal was a cracker. Fair play to the hard core who travelled.
