I’ve posted this on a FB group too, so apologies if you’ve already seen this.
We’ve just finished an excellent season, and if you ask for views of the “moment of the season” the win against City and Will Grigg’s goal at Donny with the celebration will sweep the board.
BUT – putting those two aside.
What was your (third) moment of the season? By however you wish to define it.
Shutting the Rovers fans up ( Not that they were making a noise anyway ) by drawing 2-2 after being 2-0 down at halftime !
Same for me, equalising against Blackburn then walking back into town listening to their fans whinging like a bunch of babies, sweet moment.
Without any doubt for me Mr Griggs winner against Citeh.
Another history making moment courtesy of The Super Latics.For me, number 3 is the “goal” that wasn’t given against Northampton.
Discussed on here at the time, some said goal, some said no goal…the ref said no so that’s the end of it.

Colclough went close in injury time before Morsy’s shot appeared to cross the line after striking a post but the referee waved play on before blowing the final whistle seconds later.
A controversial decision which didn’t cost us. Last season that would have happened at 0-0 in a must win game or 0-1 in a must not lose. For me, that was the moment I became convinced this would be a lucky season :lol:

I’ll have another go then. How about the comeback against Fylde in the replay that kept us in the cup to go on to beat the three greed league sides.City game apart scoring at the death at Bradford coz that result came at a crucial time in deciding who was going up.

It got harder and harder as more goals went in.
Fleetwood was a great day out. But the nicest non footballing thing for me was at Fleetwood when I saw someone wearing an Amnesty T-shirt with ‘Football welcomes Refugees’ on the front.
Fleetwood had joined in with the FA / EFL / EPL day of ‘welcome’. There were 15 Syrians of all ages, male and female all having a great day out, and seeing some good football.
That was a stand out non football moment for me.

I thought the scene of them really enjoying themselves for 90 minutes was very special.
