So far in the first half has decided an elbow in the side of someone’s head doesn’t warrant a red card, in fact not even a talking to.
Then round the half off by not giving a penalty for a blatant hand ball. The Shrews are riding their luck again, should be a goal down and playing with 10 men.
So glad we are rid if these God awful referees.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
13 May 2018 at 10:42 pm #169152Will we be rid of them?
And yes I agree, they’ve been abysmal this season. Last 2 or 3 we had at Wigan, youd swear it was their first game, they were so poor and indecisive. Neither lino or refs seemed to know what the other was doing.
13 May 2018 at 11:13 pm #169153And to round it off, the guy who shouldn’t have been on the pitch scored. Good goal like…

14 May 2018 at 12:55 am #169154I’m glad for the Shrews they deserve to be promoted over the whole season. And Bowyer is a mardy arsed pillock .
14 May 2018 at 1:10 am #169155Wonder if Shrewsbury will get a fine for allowing fans to run onto the field. Looks like there was a confrontation with Bowyer and some fans, all caught on camera.
Will they fek! From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!14 May 2018 at 2:04 pm #169161They have been the EFL, TV and Referees darlings all season. Dullest football I’ve watched in a while those two legs. Two very average teams. Will be interesting to see if Rotherham or Scunthorpe’s momentum will continue, or if they have already peaked.

They’ll struggle if they go up I reckon. Plus they may well lose their manager this summer.

14 May 2018 at 7:09 pm #169168Utd have bored the nation witless all season but they still finished 2nd and will probably win the FA cup. Certainly nothing boring with Shrews 2 goals against Charlton.

Shrewsbury on the other hand managed to score just 2 more goals than Oldham who got relegated.
Their tactic appeared to be to kill the game stone dead & hope to nick a goal once everyone had nodded off.
Successful yes but duller than dishwater to my tastes – regardless of whether they scored 2 good goals in the play off semi finals14 May 2018 at 10:26 pm #169173Utd have bored the nation witless all season but they still finished 2nd and will probably win the FA cup. 14 May 2018 at 10:55 pm #169175All 3 teams that gone up will have to strengthen their squads by 5 or more new players. If not they come straight back down.

We ourselves sometimes over egg it and create few chances although our general play isn’t tedious. Shrewsbury are solid defensively and play to their strengths. Are we not being a little unkind and confusing great defence and pressing as boring. After all there are 11 positions on a football field and if your defence holds firm and midfield gives opponents no time and space the likelihood is you should win the game. The Shrews don’t have our fire power so adapted well and found a way to win just differently to how we did it. I just believe they deserve promotion a lot more than than the others in the playoffs.
15 May 2018 at 1:45 am #169185They deserve to go up really. As the commentator said they only side keep up with us and rovers. Playoff lottery means it not guaranteed though.
Another pitch invasion at fulham tonight. Terrible terrible events.
