I know many many of us will say it, but “I was there” if that’s the game we won 2-0 and the “terracing” was made up of stacked wooden pallets.
That jazzy strip (it was certainly a bit fancy at the time) went a good few unbeaten I seem to recall…also pretty sure it was a bit lively off the pitch at Giant Axe that day and n the way back to the coaches !
I seem to remember being on the side at the back and that could be us jumping up with arms in the air.
There was a temporary stand up at Giant Axe that day too which some of our non league hooligans set fire to. Didn’t have tight fitting poncy girl jeans and prickish hairstyles back then either.Before my memory that and have no recollection of the kit.
