We were best team up to the wholesale changes. Loved the way Morsy owned Gomes who is supposed to be the top player. I bet Silva is wishing he’d have hung on to Robinson, best left back on show. Great run out the lads look quite fit and ready for the season.

Thought it was a half decent game at times but slipped into pre-season mode quite a bit. Windass backing out of that challenge in the first half hopefully being “pre-season mode”

On another subject…..why do we insist on letting visiting fans in the home end? We opened two stands for Everton fans and they were still all wandering around the West Stand.

Saw bits of the game whilst I am away, via a stream

Not bad, but we need to improve on not giving the ball away cheaply. Naismith was a culprit…id sooner have him in midfield than left back. His backpass only just got cleared as well.

I like Joffy. Only got booked because he had been fouled himself and was stretching to get in for the ball.

Overall, not bad. But Everton werent great.
