I for one miss the cockney latic legend Griff, for all his wit, sarcasm, putdowns & (at times), very reasonable debate. I think this forum is too quiet without him. He should return IMO!!

I miss Bullit’s daily rants. Shame he’s been banned. He still logs on 2-3 times every day though, like a kid pressing his nose up against a sweet shop window.
Maybe if some contributors were not put down by some just for having an opinion then others may come back.

When have you ever been put down for “having an opinion” to such an extent that you didn’t post?
Can you name any poster who felt that way so much that they no longer post as a result. Someone who was so hurt by having their “opinion” challenged (which is what happens on football forums) that they went away sobbing that people didn’t agree with them. Or maybe people just thought sod it. I know I’ve often thought that.
This whole thread is about Griff et al (and I know for a fact he doesn’t need me to make the point). Surely he is then actually someone who has been put off posting here for whatever reason.Ok…opinions ….heres mine.If Cook continues to F@@@around unnecessarily then the axe needs grinding. He’s been backed financially so can be no more excuses. He has great cover in every position…

I agree with you. Apart from pilkington (due to injury), the team should have remained the same.
I like cook & from what I’ve read, he made the team watch last seasons game vs Preston all week over & over. On this occasion mr cook, I think it should have been YOU (cook I’m referring too) who should have watched the video time & again as you clearly haven’t learned any lessons. I hope the woeful away record ISNT going to continue.

He tends to post a lot on the latics Facebook pages from what I’ve encountered.
