They are not using the heat lamps on it and it makes a huge difference.It was like a bowling green last season with both football and rugby playing on it.
Without the winter lights the grass will not grow. I hope the Spanish don’t penny pinch and they pencil in the cost of using the lights into the budget or else come March when the chubbies come back it will look like a pigs play den.

The admin should be held to account.It’s OK penny pinching because we are in administration but there is an obligation to provide a playing surface up to EFL standards.They should be made to contribute to the repair of the pitch.Surely a few heat lamps left on overnight would not break the bank.
This admin lot are fckin scum who have sold off everything, dirt cheap and some to friends and will be paid a tidy some for destroying us.
That Krasner is one fat scumbag who preys on others dismise. We’ve gone from one of the most solidly run clubs in the EFL with a decent squad and with one of the best playing surfaces around to a side that resembles an under 21’s league team playing on a council field.The sooner they’ve gone the better. After the ahit we’ve gone through if this ever happened again we’d be better going bump and start again.
Its an expensive pitch and an expensive pitch to maintain. Last time I was there against Luton it had started looking ropey and tired. An improvement on other years but starting to wear again.It never has looked fantastic on tv like other clubs and thats down to the amount of play but now after us playing on it last summer and not sticking to a maintenance program it is totally shot at and will cost a fortune to put right. Maybe even requiring a new pitch again because of the lack of maintenance.
The pitch lights are only a tiny fraction of what has been missing.
If you ran a ferrari would you not have it serviced and serviced to manufacturers recommendation?
