Leaves key players on to the death when we’re 3-0 up with 2 trips away coming up.
Power looked leggy, Lang was rubbing his hamstring just before he left the field.3-0 up get your key players off. Take Bolton, Bolton were diving in on McClean end of first half to get a reaction and a 2nd yellow.
McCleans a hot head so me I’d had had him off on 60mins plus the fact he always fades after an hour.
Richardson leaves him on and now he’s likely to miss the season.Last night 3-0 most managers rest key players, Lang did till 81 Keane till 90. Crazy crazy crazy.
Sat Tues Sat Tues and you don’t use your squad ?. Let’s hope no key players pull up due to been over played when not needed.6 April 2022 at 9:29 am #196063Top of the league with games in hand
Leagues best scorers (having played less games)
2nd best defenceBloody rubbish Wigan. Leam out!
6 April 2022 at 9:31 am #196064And making a sub won’t stop an injury – see Saturday with McClean. Luckily that happened late on and playing with 10 wasn’t an issue.
No doubt he gets crucified for making subs if we play 10 minutes or so and lose the gane.

Ffs pal it’s about managing players do you not get that part ?. Right now we are top but fatigued players end up injured.
1 or 2 knocks or strains to the likes of Keane Naylor Lang due to been overplayed overused and play offs here we come.If McClean comes off on 60-70 that doesn’t happen.
Why leave Lang bombing it round full pelt 60 mins on the clock 3 up ?. Keane till 90 ??. At 3-0 make changes. If those players on the bench aren’t good enough then that’s the managers fault for bringing them in.
7 games in 21 days
5 away
Sat & Tues till Shrewsbury
A few long hauls
Last Sat and Tues was time to utilise our squad before the game and in play.
MK dons have 1 mid week game from now till the end of the season so plenty of rest time between games.Cracking coach Richardson,
Not a manager7 April 2022 at 9:26 am #196083Seems to be managing them pretty well so far. They could get injured in training too, maybe they don’t train either.
7 April 2022 at 10:05 am #196086You can avoid injury in training by
managing their schedule and how they train and to what intensity. You can also manage it in play but he chooses not to.With 2 games a week and 7 to go (5 away) it’s not about fitness levels it’s all about recovery and tactics to suit the next opponents.
Putting all your trust in monitors stuck to your chest is fine to a point but leaving players on in a game were your 3-0 up and clearly on top is utter utter pointless.I suppose you missed Lang rubbing his hamstring and dropping to one knee to catch his breath ?. Just pointless Bennett 86 and Keane subbed on 90 ? wtf ? 3-0 up ?.
Saving Keane??
Running the clock down ?
Wasting time incase Accrington hit 3 in injury time?
Give Massey a few minutes ?.
Regarding McClean?, he was on a yellow and just before half time committed 2 fouls, the ref warned him.
Then, a Bolton player dove in on him to get a rise from him, to antagonise him purely because the way he plays and a bit of a hot head.
In the 2nd half McClean withdrew from the game as not to get a 2nd yellow so at that point take him off.
Nope,
Leaves him on and now he’s crocked for the season.Richardsons subs and when at times are a shambles regarding player management. That’s were nexperienced manager knows when to
I cannot see us keeping injury free from now till the end of the season.
What he needs to do is, manage players in a game better7 April 2022 at 10:16 am #196091How many big injuries have we had?
Like I said…..seems to be managing them quite well.
McClean’s injury was trying to avoid a shocker of a challenge from that Dempsey.

Cousins was one and a huge miss brought back to soon.
“Managing them quite well”
Why ride your luck ?, 3 up players get rested with 7 to go and only 2 at home.
McClean should have been replaced at half time. Me you and the gate post know hes like a red rag to a bull when tackled. My opinion is, he kept players on the pitch far too long and its not the first time.
It made no sense what so ever and an asute experienced manager would have made subs around the 60 minute mark
7 April 2022 at 4:29 pm #196096So one then, which IIRC was due to a challenge and meant that Max Power moved back to his preferred position.
Good job Richardson isn’t a bad coach as well as a bad manager we might be 2nd then.

You knew it’d be CW (think we know what the W stands for) or brownbizz that started a thread like this.
3 players at start of season and with 7 to go we top of table and COULD be promoted in a weeks time, yet Richardson is a poor manager because he doesn’t make 3 subs a game.
Pretty sure the same muppet claimed Cook was a bad manager for making subs. Then he vanished when Cook was doing well and we were the form side in the country.
Tell you what CW….if we end up in the 0layoffs I’ll give £50 to the charity of your choice. More chance of Bolton going up
