I remember playing Nob End in a pre season match at the DW before this season and as anyone who was there will no doubt agree, we were absolutely awesome.
The passing, skill, danger I mean everything looked great. Then first game of the season at Villa, again it was a case of WOW!!
Absolutely brilliant and to give Villa a lesson in how to play football is no mean feet who ever you are.
So, the anticipation was there. The thought that we were going to have a great season and watch some fantastic football and with Martinez at the helm it couldnt get any better.
So where did it all go wrong? From the highs of pre season and Villa, brought down to earth with a bang.
If Notts County and not least Lee Hughes put in a repeat performance on Tuesday, I hope to hell we have 1 of our rare good days.29 January 2010 at 9:15 pm #20403I remember playing Nob End in a pre season match at the DW before this season and as anyone who was there will no doubt agree, we were absolutely awesome.

By the way if you weren’t there then we were the lucky ones.
Now sit up and pay attention to Mr DavidGrays question and let’s see if you could at least get that right.
Somehow I doubt it……………

i didnt travel there out of choice to see the game, i happened to be doing a job at a world famous norwich condiment maker and attended the game with a norwich fan and a blackburn season ticket holder and i think (well we all did) that against a div 3 side 4-1 and quite a few missed chances against a premiership team amounts to something of a hammering.
to be honest i cant remember what the weather was like it would be easy to say it was august and should be nice but quite a few times in both july and august on my frequent visits it poured down ,i actually remember one of the new buildings we had installed some machines in being flooded because the roofers had not sealed some roof lights, but i could only guess at what it was like that night, but i am not here to score points on the validity of games attended when no other credible argument is available to you.
i also wasnt at blackburn on wednesday but i know we were crap-why ?
because apart from reading papers-watching broken internet coverage then highlights on sky ,that blackburn fan i went to norwich with said to me and i quote:-
” i know we are rubbish and its terrible to watch under allardyce, but you are the worse team i have seen at ewood this season,in fact do you remember when we went to norwich-well you was as bad as that”. -
