The Sky footage immediately after the game showed the incident some different angles, and it shows that the tussle with Aimson was clearly orchestrated by the Plymouth forward. When Aimson retaliated, their big strong forward went down like a sack of spuds. Once again the ref does not see the entire incident and awards the penalty. So, aren’t the linesmen supposed to be watching the overall play in the goal area ?
Every week, I say the same thing: I hate what play from corners has become. The referees need to put a stop to the general brawl that they have now become. It’s worse that the “slutch rats” having a scrum.

Another poor decision…….on a footnote …did I miss some information?…Why was Costelloe not in squad ?
Refs are embarrassing themselves if they give one penalty a game for a foul at a corner. The same antics are going on at EVERY corner.
I think Costelloe and Adeeko have paid the price after Lowe said some players weren’t doing what was asked of them.
I’m not so sure that was the reason Costelloe was left out I think it was more of a formation thing. We played with the one up top so it would be pointless having 2 forwards on the bench and Mullin would always win over Costelloe.
Also, why was Adeeko left out? same applies to Trevitt and Wright, I’m thinking as your thinking, he’s giving instructions out and their not taking them on board hence young Jack Rodgers made the bench which is brilliant to see.
At least Lowes prepared to change things up especially when it’s not working. He knows he hasn’t got that 2 or 3 quality players that every good side needs so he’s experimenting which we can’t knock.
Overall it wasn’t a sparkling performance but it was all about stopping the rot so 5-4-1 was for me the right thing to do.
There’s nothing we could have done about that joke of a pen but at least we managed to score and what a ball by Saydee to Murray and same goes to Murray, a top finish.
But yeah, I hoped Lowe wouldn’t take the same path as Maloney sticking to the same system and players so I’m glad he’s brave enough to swap mix & match.
The simple truth is, we have a decent average squad not much flare all about effort.
As the saying famous saying goes:-

Lowes proving if you work hard and play to a game plan your in (oh and scouse)
I realised after I typed it but for me it’s still an absolute bellend ruling that should be scraped for me, you sign him for 12 months, pay his wages you should be able to play
Thought it was harsh as well but shouldn’t have been an issue.
I reckon we have at least 22 players (probably 26 players) who want to be in the first team. How have we been turned over by Salford and a kids team. It’s not a massive deal in the grand scheme of things but I still think it was embarrassing
